Job Summary:

On behalf of our client, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Manager - Data Scientist to lead our organization's data science team and drive innovation through data analytics. As the Manager - Data Scientist, you will be responsible for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of data science models and algorithms that support the organization's strategic goals and decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the data science team, including hiring, training, and development.

- Develop and implement data science strategies and initiatives that support the organization's goals and objectives.

- Collaborate with business leaders to identify opportunities to leverage data science to improve business performance, drive growth, and create competitive advantage.

- Design, develop, and implement data science models and algorithms that deliver business value and support informed decision-making across all business functions.

- Lead the identification, evaluation, and adoption of emerging data science technologies and tools that enhance data capabilities and drive innovation.

- Ensure the quality, accuracy, and completeness of data used in data science models and algorithms.

- Develop and maintain policies and procedures for data management, quality, security, and privacy.

- Communicate data science insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field; advanced degree in Data Science, Analytics, or related field preferred.

- Minimum of 7 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or related field; at least 3 years of experience in a leadership role.

- Strong experience in developing and implementing data science strategies and initiatives that support business goals.

- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing data science models and algorithms that deliver business value and support informed decision-making.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with a demonstrated ability to turn data into innovative solutions and actionable recommendations.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

- Strong leadership and team management skills with a proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams.

- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects and initiatives from conception to completion.

- Strong understanding of emerging trends, tools, and technologies in data science and machine learning.
